These terms and conditions apply to all transactions between us and you. Please read them carefully before placing your order and print a copy for future reference.
We would draw your attention particularly to the sections below headed Privacy Policy and Cookies which describes how we use the personal and transactional information you give us when placing an order.
By placing an order, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which make up the entire agreement between us.
Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier.?Just browse our Catalogue, click the products for more information and click either buy now or add to basket. After you have finished your selection, click on checkout.
If this is your first time to our shop then you will be asked to register a few details that we need to be able to fill the order. After ordering, you will receive an automated email response acknowledging receipt of your order.?No contract for the sale of any goods will exist between you and Altered Treasures until we accept your order by charging in either full or part, your credit or debit card, against payment for goods ordered or upon receipt of cleared funds if you pay by cheque.
We have made every effort to display on the web site as accurately as possible the colours of our products. As the colours you see will depend on the resolution of your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will reflect accurately the colour of the product delivered.
Back Orders
We do not back order out of stock items, please reorder at a later date.
Tax Charges
All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the prevailing rate, currently 17.5%. Orders shipped outside of the EU are shipped VAT free and these calculations will be made at the time of despatch and not shown on order confirmations.
Credit Card Security
All credit card details are encrypted between your computer browser and our server or the secure gateway that we use.
Cooling Off
Should any of your order be unsuitable we will be happy to exchange or refund within 7 days of receipt - items are returned at your expense, we are unable to exchange paper/cardstock unless faulty. Please see our Returns Policy in regard to faulty items. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns Policy
In the rare event of faulty goods being received, these must be returned within 14 days of receipt. Any reasonable postage costs incurred in the return of faulty goods will be refunded.
We cannot be held liable for goods lost in transit whilst being returned to us, in this event you must obtain compensation from the postal service involved. We recommend goods are returned by Recorded Delivery to ensure signed receipt.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Packages leave Altered Treasures in perfect condition, should damage be caused to goods whilst in transit we recommend taking a photograph of any damage and retaining packaging to assist any claim for compensation.
Remittance Terms
We are happy to accept payment via paypal bank transfer or nochex. Alternatively you may send a cheque payable to HL Campling to 51 Micklefield Road, Seaford, East Sussex, BN25 4EU.
If you are shopping from outside of the UK Mainland, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. Where applicable cheques should be made payable to HL Campling.
